ClockSlate is designed so that ordinary calculator entries do not need to leave your browser.

Calculator data

Times, breaks, rates and other calculator inputs are processed locally in your browser. ClockSlate does not intentionally transmit or store those values on its server.

Local browser storage

Work Settings can save your time format, week start, usual break, weekly target, overtime and rounding defaults, currency and optional rate in local storage when you request it. The time-card calculator can also save a complete draft locally, but only after you select “Save draft.” Nothing is saved automatically. Local storage remains on your device and can be cleared in Work Settings, with the calculator's delete action or through your browser settings.

Embedded military-time converter

The official military-time embed is ad-free and performs its conversion in the browser. It does not include analytics or tracking code and is marked noindex so the embedded utility is not treated as a separate search page.

Share links and downloads

A time-card share link encodes the values you choose in the URL fragment. The fragment is not included in a normal request to the ClockSlate server, but anyone who receives the full link can read those values. CSV and JSON backup files are generated locally. Downloadable spreadsheet templates do not transmit their completed contents to ClockSlate.

Server logs

Like most websites, the hosting and security infrastructure may temporarily process technical request data such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, timestamp and security events. This data is used for availability, abuse prevention and troubleshooting.

Analytics, advertising and cookies

ClockSlate may use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure page views, referring sites, device categories and page-performance metrics. Cloudflare describes this service as cookie-free and states that it does not collect or use visitors' personal data. It does not log URL query strings or provide custom-event tracking. ClockSlate does not currently include Google Analytics, advertising or affiliate tracking scripts.

If advertising, affiliate measurement or another analytics service is introduced, this policy and any required consent controls will be reviewed before activation.
